More deferred maintenance when it comes to fixing Kansas City's sewers!!!

Needless delay is what happens when the City Council starts paying too much attention to environmentalists and flashy television commercials . . .
Currently the plan calls for $30 million of the $2.3 billion price (to fix KC sewers) to be spent on green remedies. But the council majority says much more, maybe up to $500 million more, needs to be spent on green solutions.Green is great but so many politicos in this town want to jump on board a popular bandwagon rather than getting directly to the nasty problem of this town's poop.

Something tragic has to happen before the re-placements of sewer.
You should know after living here so long that Kansas City won't do anything unless people die from it.
