Kansas City Sports: A generation of losing

As a young child I remember when the Kansas City Kings packed up and moved to Sacramento. Even back then I knew that with the exception of a few bright spots, Kansas City sports would be mired in mediocrity almost indefinitely. As a 5 year old, I was in the audience when Darryl Dawkins broke the backboard in THE MOST HISTORIC KANSAS CITY EVENT EVER . . . So obviously I have a much deeper perspective on the matter than most people.

Nevertheless, Kansas City blogger Nick Sloan puts together a comprehensive list of Kansas City's Top 10 Sports Victories. TKC Note: Anything glorious moment involving a professional sports franchise took place more than 20 years ago. Sadly, the taxes that people in Jackson County pay for the teams have also increased by almost 20 fold.
