Kansas City Punk Casting

Wow . . . I actually did a little research on this post (a first) and found out that a Canadian band shooting a music video in Kansas City IS NOT the poser-y white rap group "The Sound and The Fury" but INSTEAD IS ANOTHER CANADIAN BAND with a similar name: SOUND AND FURY.

No matter who they are (I'm still not sure) they could be your ticket to fame. Apparently, a local video production company is looking for Punk, Indie Rock, Tattooed people 18 - 25 years old.
The casting is at the Westport Coffee house on this Friday, May 16th. The video makers are hoping to have about 30 - 50 extras for the video and 4 -6 main characters.
So, if you look like anything from Avril Lavigne to some (chubbier) facsimile of Sid Vicious I'm sure these music video producers might be interested and it could be your ticket out of Kansas City that's much more glamorous than joining the circus. In the meantime, I'll be listening to my trusted, wonderful and soothing Wilson Phillips CD.

Maybe those kids from Ssion that hang out (pour coffee) at Westport Coffee House will get picked.
Remember kids: Just because it sucks, doesn't make it punk.
