Big bucks for light rail study when feds should be helping out with sewers

The U.S. Department of Transportation has released $2.16 million to the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority for Kansas City's Light Rail Alternative Analysis, U.S. Sen. Kit Bond's office said Wednesday.

And in case anybody was tempted to call this "good news" . . . It's really just another sign that D.C.'s priorities are just as screwed up as those of KC Cheerleaders who are planning on someone else to take care of all this town's poop.
