Here are bloggy thoughts going through my head at the moment; feel free to contribute or not . . .
There aren't enough video bloggers in Kansas City.
Post-election - it's clear that local blogs don't have an influence in KC politics in the least (given that few people vote in this town) but the impact on the culture at large of even the newest local blog is evident.
Great photos = Great blogs. Erin and her Diva awesomeness, Pensive Girl's thoughtful contributions and Pom's pretty pics are probably what keep the blogosphere worth looking at . . .
Honestly, I've had about as much as I can take of white guys and their opinions. HOWEVER, when the JoCO SOB writes about KC proper and notes that: "Your schools suck, your crime is high, your politics are a joke, the infrastructure is ancient and the majority of your women are ugly." I can't help but take notice!!! (While snickering just a little at the clarity of the observation)
Still, I think the local blogosphere is ripe for change . . . I just don't know what form it's going to take and if it'll have a greater impact than a buzz word for a new (lame) media venture or another excuse for people of a similar demographic to go pseudo dating . . . Strange Days Indeed.
only someone who is mentally ill would make a comment like the one about "white guys and their opinions". and only a mental patient would prefer the squallor and crime(not to mention the ugly women) in most of kansas city, to the quality of life in most of johnson county. what kind of person??
