Note to Black women in Kansas City: You're better off not being arrested

Let's think about this for awhile . . . Black women haven't been enjoying a very good rapport with the authorities if their recent high profile run-ins with the police in the Kansas City area are any indication.

  • There was the high school principal forced to the ground in Independence.

  • The national news story regarding a woman bleeding who didn't get access to medical attention from the KCPD.

  • And over the weekend some old lady died in police custody.

Obviously, I don't know if there's a racial motivation to all of these tragic instances involving women of color . . . So I'll just assume as much.

Either way, as a Black woman I can say that I'm going to be on my best behavior when making any contact with the local authorities which is normally the case for most people to begin with but should be a priority for people of color. When TKC talks to a cop I always start out the conversation with a few tears and sniffling, "Please don't kill me!!!"

    So far it has worked.

    1. Cute Tony. Just another veiled attack on Independence policeman John Bullard who is running for sheriff of Jackson County. Bullard did not throw that woman to the ground in Independence.

    2. I'm thinking the cops had nothing to do with this old broad dying. I'm guessing it had more to do with her diet of fried foods and unchecked high blood pressure.

    3. Black women would be better off if they don't commit the crime and run.

    4. Black women would be better off if they don't have 7 warrants, live a life if filth and squalor, and then get arrested.

Tony would be better off not being so predictable.
