The Star spins economic data and keeps their readers in the dark

This headline in the Star is just sad: Economic forecast sees resiliency, not recession, in 2008

Meanwhile, every economist back here in reality sees a recession on the horizon.

In the end, I guess I'd rather have The Star report happy news and PR copy because it gives local bloggers more credibility and reveals that there is not a single news source under the sun that doesn't have an agenda or a particular bias.

Which is worse, TKC alone posting stories on New Years Eve or me alone reading them?

2008 will be the year that celebrity wealth goes into hiding. A land full of people crying into their foreclosure notices will take a dim view of the Donald Trumps and P. Diddys luxuriating out there and may come looking for scalps.

(musical note) is a d-bag for plagiarizing james howard kunstler's writing. google his site, he's a great writer.

I still think (musical note) makes a good point.

Good catch scipio. You give me hope.
