The Brooksider Bans Hip-Hop Attire
I was amused to see the new dress code regs at the Brooksider.
No baggy or saggy clothing
No bandanas or do-rags
Baseball hats are allowed, but no stickers or price tags can be showing
No men's tank tops, sleeveless shirts or white T-shirts
Untucked T-shirts cannot exceed arm's length
All necklaces must be tucked inside a shirt
No sports jerseys after 10 p.m.
On the surface this seems like a fair way to thwart knuckleheads who have been responsible for a plethora of police calls to the place (42 times in the last 6 months).
But c'mon . . . We all know who these regulations are aimed toward: Hardcore rappers!!!
Apparently, there is a overwhelming number of famous, cutting edge rappers at the Brooksider and they just had to keep them in line with some kind of regulation.
Eminem, Tupac's Ghost, DMX and that other fruit who recorded the porno song for young people to unknowingly repeat throughout the summer.
Anyhoo . . . I guess the Brooksider is just inundated with award winning "gangsta" (ugh) rappers and these new regulations will be applied equally to every patron of the bar in order to thwart the infestation of Grammy Award winning artists, right?
Because a middle-class white guy wearing a baggy sports jersey to a sports bar represents a clear and present danger to everyone in the immediate vicinity.

Let's face it, gangsta's or wannabes are invading midtown. With them comes an increase in violence in midtown establishments. I have seen it, I work in the bar business. Who cares what rules they set. Until the brothers stop fighting each other and whitey we will all have to put up with crap like this.

Oh gosh, this isn't difficult to figure out. This is like the equivalent of social/racial arithmetic. Even a retarded white baby could put this one together. Let me give the public the gist.
Why can't the management at Brooksider just be honest for once and put up a flashing red light that says "no black allowed". This is bullshit. The Brookside bullshitters know EXACTLY what message they're sending with the new "dress code" and it doesn't have anything to do with "safety". This is about the same racist bureaucratic BS that's plagued this country since its inception. White men don't like the fact that Black men are having sex with all the young perky-breasted blondes. Having worked as a doorman before at several spots, I can say that how a person dresses can reflect what kind of attitude they are going to bring into the place. It has nothing to do with race. Places like Skybox didn't enforce much of a dresscode, look what happened to them.

Because a "WHITES ONLY" sign wouldn't keep out the white, Johnson County, posers who think they are all "urban ghetto" and try to dress and act like hip hop douche nozzles.
I'm 18 and live in JoCo, and yes we are spoiled. But we are also not driving to the Brooksider or any other bar for that matter. Any high schooler that is drinking is going to do so at a friend's house. This dress code isn't to stop spoiled wiggers, its a fucking modern day Jim Crow law.
Because its the sticker on the hat that someone might conceal a weapon under. Racist fucks.
