Listen up: Music is no longer a physical commodity, same thing happens to the rest of media (especially movies) in less than 5 years.
Music producers mixing for MP3 . . . From Boing Boing on the state of modern music (i.e. MP3s): As a society, we're happy to sacrifice fidelity for ease of use, flexibility and low-cost. Designing for that, as opposed to lamenting it -- is a damned good and realistic thing to do.
