The Chiefs are the worst team in the NFL and likely the weakest in KC history!!!
Chiefs fans might have to go back to the days of Bill Kenney to find a Kansas City team which sucks as bad as this season's cast of chumps.
The Chiefs have lost five games in a row, a feat that hasn't been achieved in almost 20 years as the team is clearly in crisis.
Yesterday, the Chargers didn't just win. The Chargers dominated the Chiefs.
Even worse and more relevant to the culture of Kansas City at large . . . THE JOHNSON COUNTY FANS HAVE ALL BUT ABANDONED THE CHIEFS!!!
This topic is relevant because it is what will happen to the Sprint Center and Electric Avenue when times get tough i.e. the looming recession.
Just a few minutes after halftime, after LaDainian Tomlinson walked into the end zone . . . The stadium was nearly abandoned.
Even worse . . .
Nobody wants Chiefs tickets anymore. Apparently, they're not even worth face value.
Additionally, the remaining Chiefs games aren't even worth watching on TV. The talk of a Chiefs TV blackout started as an Internets rumor but now could be closer to reality that most local sportscasters would care to fathom.
It's a tad depressing to think that THE PEOPLE OF JACKSON COUNTY GAVE THESE CHUMPS AND EPIC TAX BREAK LAST YEAR AND NOW THE TEAM CAN'T HOLD THE ATTENTION OF THEIR FANS FOR ONE FULL GAME!!!

There are loud cries for Carl Peterson to be fired. And Herm's head is also on the chopping block.
Looking at the remainder of the season, there's no reason to cheer.
It's not unreasonable to expect that the Chiefs won't win a game for the remainder of their schedule. Detroit is their best shot and it's really just a question of who wants to win worse draft position - The Chiefs are always expert in that area.
Stereotypically, every white Chiefs fan in Kansas City looks to Jared Allen as a bright spot.
The unexpected touchdown pass that he caught was entertaining but also indicative of the fact that Kansas City's favorite caveman-looking-dude is now the only sideshow worth seeing at Arrowhead - If he was really any good the defense wouldn't have been so vulnerable against the run. In fact, on running plays (overrated) Allen is all but absent.
TKC highlight: Second chances are a rarity in the NFL and it's clear Damon Huard didn't want one anyway. The guy could have won his (multi-million dollar) job back with a few touchdown passes but he threw the ball away again, didn't seem to want to play and once again pretended to be hurt when things started going south. The Chiefs finished the game WITH A THIRD STRING QUARTERBACK which is probably an insult to everyone who paid for their ticket.
And as this disappointing year comes to a close for the Chiefs, the people who truly deserve the blame are the Kansas City politicos who sold this mediocre act to the taxpayers of Jackson County. The JoCo fans of these chumps are just taking a loss on their tickets but Jackson County is NOW SADDLED WITH A TAX BURDEN OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR YEARS to support the worst team in the NFL and one of the worst collection of mediocre, overrated and overpaid athletes Kansas City has ever seen.
