I'm sure the police union will get the officer back on the streets abusing the law in now time.

Don't get me wrong, these officers put their lives on the line for us, but their union and brotherhood bullshit is central to the cop-hate mentality.
First, there is no "police union" in Kansas City. Up until 1998, membership in a "union" was against state law for members of the KCPD. There is an "association" (KCPOA - KC Police Officers Association), but it is NOT a union and has no bargaining rights. It's main purpose is to provide officers with a group-rate legal plan and additional life/disability insurance.
As far as this detective goes, it has been known for a long time that she is lazy and worthless, but she has hid behind her ethnicity and been able to worm her way out of all previous trouble by screaming racial discrimination. This is the first time she has been "caught" where it will stand up, and I can assure you that there will be very few members of the PD defending her (mainly her "brothers" and "sisters"). Good riddance on this one! Print that Tony!
