Jackson County, Erotic City, Orgy Room, Underage Sex Crimes and other keywords guaranteed to attract pervy blog readers

Sorry to be so self-referential with that post title but a recent story out of Jackson County has all the makings of popular local story which may rely on sensationalism but will definitely attract viewers, readers and pervs.

Here are the sleazy details which local anchors will be forced to read with scowls and disgusted looks:

In his November 5th guilty plea, Herd said he brought a 14-year-old girl to Erotic City where she allegedly had sex with him and as many as 20 other men at once.

Prosecutors say Herd identified a room in the lower level of the adult-themed business called the Orgy Room where the underage sex allegedly took place.

"There's no such thing. Go!" A security guard who demanded our camera crew leave the property says the so-called Orgy Room doesn't exist.

County Executive Mike Sanders wouldn't reveal the particulars of his plan to regulate Erotic City and other adult book stores in the county.

"We don't want to say anything necessarily specific at this point, until we look at what they've done," Sander said. "But, largely, it's regulating the industry, making sure that people are being carded at the door, making sure that these businesses are responsible for that."

It's worth noting that the Government of Jackson County once ran Erotic City.

However, despite the disgusting details of the story I'm still surprised to read that people actually had sex at a strip club . . . I know, I know it was allegedly the nasty area beneath the club that either doesn't exist according to the proprietors or has more diseases than a petri dish in an African sub-Saharan health clinic . . . Nevertheless, in my experience I've NEVER heard of anyone having sex anywhere near a strip club. I don't even want to invoke the "No Sex in the Champagne room" cliché but my own personal experience has led me to the conclusion that strip clubs were only a place to provide financial aid to bitter single mothers or help skanks finance a mild to serious drug habit.

Now, upon hearing of this story, I'm even more convinced that sex and strip clubs don't seem at all well suited to each other and the details of this case are nearly as unsettling, disturbing and gross as the prospect of eating at a strip club buffet.
