ESPN's "College Game Day" will be broadcasting, Booze will be flowing and Bottomline Communications thinks this might be a "perfect storm" if there isn't enough security and a reminder that the Mexicans aren't responsible for your favorite team losing.

"Drinking Will Now Start At Daybreak and Continue During Game!"
ReplyDeleteJust like every other College Football Saturday!
It's always supereasy to find out all the new bandwagon KU or MU football fans as they are completely clueless as to the basic things like, "folks drink beer and watch football."
Meh, I never saw the appeal of getting drunk and watching sports.
ReplyDeleteSports seems like one of those things that can be enjoyed sober and the drunker you get the less you catch. Maybe that's why the casual fan is a drunkard: S/He doesn't know much about the actual game aside from what they hear on ESPN.
Could your average fan tell you even simple things like how the difference between a 3 technique and a 1 technique, or how the O-Line blocks a zone left, or what a wheel route is?
^no, the average fan couldn't--but I'll guess the average madden addict could.
ReplyDeleteI can see a couple of beers at a game--but i see people tailgating with the specific purpose of being hammered. Rather pointless.
Oh, and those of you attending the game......don't worry, the KCPD will not be monitoring drunk driving after the game. Just not enough potential for that.
ReplyDeleteGood link. They are right. This could be the biggest sporting disaster in history and all because of the schools' greed.
ReplyDeleteit's just a game
