Stigall sends folks with guns after TKC!!!

Forgive yet another self-referential post but I think you'll agree this is interesting.

I've always contended that Chris Stigall is a scumbag and basically a "hate radio" broadcaster in my opinion.

What's even more pathetic then some preppy, grouchy, d-bag whining on talk radio that it's unfair he can't use the N-word is that now he's trying to pick a fight with TKC despite the fact that I have much bigger fish (with even better ratings) to fry.

Sad little man that he is, given that he has a limited ability to reach the public . . . STIGALL IS NOW RECRUITING PEOPLE ON GUN MESSAGE BOARDS TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST TKC!!!

It's kind of scary, even though I'm not scared and really just another indication that when reactionaries, not conservatives but REACTIONARIES can't get their way . . . They reach out to people who have weapons.

Scumbag Stigall filed an angry post (that nobody read) bitching about TKC doing a lousy two minutes of radio talk in which I do nothing but try and reference other blogs.

Note: In the post, Scumbag Stigall claims that I "called" Jason Whitlock a coon BUT IN FACT . . . I merely linked to a blog that gave Whitlock a "Coonie" award. Personally, I don't care but I'd like it noted for the record that I only use derogatory language along racial lines when it comes to mojados (like my relatives) and white devils like that Scumbag Stigall who don't have a viewpoint that doesn't fall in line with the hegemony. Strange but I've always thought my comments about bitches, hos and broads were far more disparaging if taken at face value and not properly presented as a cunning use of irony in order to mock the hurtful ideology of sexism . . . I believe that in a former life I might have been a man who slapped Gloria Steinem on the ass when she worked at the Playboy Club and now I'm trying to make amens. Stay strong sisters!!!

ANYHOO, a few days after Stigall's rant (that nobody read) a message shows up on a GUN WEBSITE that's pretty much a cut and paste job which urges folks in the forum to take action against TKC and then be sure to tune into Stigall's monotonous 4 hour cheering session for Sam Graves.

As a brief aside, I'd like to note that TKC is very pro gun. Recently, it's been pointed out that Mayor Funkhouser has fallen into a trap of putting even more sanctions on gun owners in the Kansas City area. TKC has NEVER made this argument and instead I've merely urged that local authorities might want to concentrate on enforcing the laws that already exist in order to get ILLEGAL GUNS off the street and out of the hands of felons where they do the most harm. This strategy combined with increased efforts at community cooperation have proven successful in KC . . . So I've said (for more than a year) that it's time to revisit the KC Gun Experiment which DID NOT impose EVEN MORE GUN CONTROL or profiling of law abiding gun owners and retailers . . . Mayor Funky's ultra liberal stance on this issue is simply another constituency that he's selling out. So, my gun toting brothas . . . Who's really on your side if Stigall mindlessly supports a classic liberal who wants to tear away your guns whereas TKC merely points out the hypocrisy of KC's worst mayor? Also, it's worth noting that real gun rights advocates have realized that siding with hate groups and vigilantes only hurts their cause and that's why racist groups are often kicked out of gun shows . . . In time I think the same treatment will be afforded to the Minutemen given that their self appointed leader is anything but a responsible gun owner and has been CONVICTED ON FEDERAL WEAPONS CHARGES according to an Arizona news service.

I can only hope that just because Stigall jumps in bed with every loony he can find for the sake of flimsy political alliances and a couple of listeners, folks who REALLY care about protecting gun rights don't fall for his cheap antics.

Now, I know that responsible gun owners pose no threat to TKC. However, that assumes that EVERYONE out there is a responsible person and that's so often not the case . . . In Stigall's desperation to garner a name for himself after failed attempts in politics and consistently low ratings he's forgotten about any kind of responsibility that goes with USING THE PUBLIC'S AIRWAVES.

To look at TKC you have to dial up this blog over a connection that is used privately in your home or ISP whereas Stigall's medium of broadcast belongs to the taxpayers and travels in a highly government regulated space (the air). Therefore spreading lies without allowing any alternative perspective or partaking in one sided cheerleading for his politico buddies like Sam Graves and Mayor Funky might represent a violation of Equal Time laws (probably not) but DEFINITELY serves only to point out how weak his arguments are and why he's never been able to garner a significant following other than folks who don't think for themselves or sadly don't have the capability to find the facts for themselves. In the end, real conservatives have no problem with defending their ideas in an open forum and only reactionaries hide in a studio booth while talking to a mirror and doing a really horrible job of providing either entertainment or information.

And sitting here in my mom's basement I don't feel so bad about my career choices when considering at Stigall.

TKC has a pretty popular blog and provides a forum/comments section for anybody to share their views. Stigall only panders to the same 4 wacko callers he knows on a first and last name basis.

TKC is a (the) man and defends his (stupid) opinions for himself whereas Stigall keeps mentioning my mommy. I'm sorry dude, my mom advocates for a lot of people but she can't help your ratings. I'm typing at you Stigall, not your parents or friends or family . . . If you have a problem then use my name, be a man and don't go looking to a woman for help. I declined your dumbass offer to go on your show because that's your home turf . . . I doubt Stigall would join me for Dr. Pepper in this basement because he knows I'd win in Mario Kart against him 10 times out of 10.

So when faced with this fact Stigall screams for help.

Just for some perspective: Let's not forget that Benjamin Nathaniel Smith was incited to violence merely by the words of Matt Hale . . . And to be fair, STIGALL HAS NOTHING IN COMMON WITH MATT HALE other than the desperate need for attention (which I share) but there's a responsibility that comes with manning the people's airwaves (a responsibility that a joke blogger doesn't have!!!) . . . The responsibility is that if you put all of this hatred out there directed against people then you must point out that folks are entitled to alternate points of view in this Democracy and don't deserve to be gunned down. Personally, TKC hopes the Mintuemen will put down their weapons in promotion of their political cause and go about their "mission" without the vigilante tactics . . . Additionally, I think Frances Semler is a mean old lady, BUT I respect her and her clumsy quotes and I hope she has a wonderful life after she's booted off the Parks Board or costs Mayor Funky a second term.

As for any action Stigall encourages against TKC . . . I think it's obvious that KC's version of Alex P. Keaton needs to worry about his own radio show rather than what I'm up to with this dumbass blog. The only thing the guy seems to be doing is directing more readers this way and I'm thankful; that's why I don't mind writing a post about the dude who definitely has a LOT to learn about media.

In the end, TKC is all about educating and helping white people along with folks of all sorts . . . Even bitches and preppy scumbags like Stigall.
