Hockey fans prefer Kansas City

I don't think the Predators are coming to Kansas City because this (small media market) town has served as a bargaining chip so many times before . . . But it's interesting to note that a great many hockey fans would "rather see the Preds uproot and head out west than to see the league further dilute its talent pool by adding two more teams."

I truly believe KC is ready for a hockey team and it will do well in this area. It will do a lot better than any NBA team would - this town is a college basketball town and always will be!

If you can get 11,000+ for a Wizards game, then you will pack em in for Hockey. Thats for sure. I am a fan of neither, but when I lived in Denver for awhile I went to a Avalanche home game and it was a great time. Very exciting to watch. Of course this is a sport dominated by the white/foreigner guys so Tony will vehemently oppose it. But that was the year they won the Stanley cup, but I have also been to a "Wiz" game and talk about a fucking snooze fest!

Hockey will do better in KC than it is in Orlado, that's for sure.
