Goodbye Bob

Sad news to start the day . . . Robert Goulet, 'Camelot' Star, Dapper Singer, Dead at Age 73. Somehow the world seems just a little bit less smooth.

Considering most infants in your age group never even heard of Goulet
why would post this?

The answer is simple. Robert Goulet was AWESOME. Also, you may not be familiar with some of the parodies that Will Farrell did on SNL of the singer or a guest appearance the guy did on The Simpsons.

Personally, I was always a fan of his rendition of "If Ever I Would Leave You"

Don't assume shit about people.

Amen, Tony.

I had the pleasure of seeing/hearing Robert Goulet in Camelot a few years ago when it was at Starlight. He was (as expected) terrific.

Great entertainers transcend generations.

I'm with Tony. In the words of Truimph the Insult comic dog...."Do not fuck with THE GOULET!"

Yea, he was a lounge singer instead of a rocker. But he had a set of pipes and presence. And was a pro enough to perform hundreds of shows a year.

In another time or place, he'd be the ironically muschtachioed lead singer of an Emo rock band.
