The Star's reporting on Semler is booty

The Mayor along with his unskilled and talentless PR staff are still trying to diffuse the Semler debate without any luck.

Their latest trick is some BS press release about so-called "progress" and work toward a settlement on the issue.

This is really just nothing more than a lie. It's hard to believe the Star went with this one given how they've been fooled before and even reported the whole Semler story was over in July.

La Raza Leader Janet Murgia simply says "We're talking" so the "progress" doesn't seem that great to me.

Also, without talking to any of he leadership in KC, La Raza would have a hard time selling this one to the locals. However, for the record, the same thing DID happen to the NAACP locals when their leadership surprised everyone with a decision to stand against the hate group that has co-opted the Funky Administration. Also, for the record, Funkhouser and the Minutemen are one in the same at this point.

But, the fact remains that there IS NO DEAL BETWEEN LA RAZA AND THE FUNKY BUNCH and time is running out.

Once again, the Star is swallowing Mayor Funky's hype hook, line and sinker. Incidentally, it's also sad to see that Funkhouser hasn't dropped his divide and conquer strategy given that it's only serving to further sully his reputation in the Latino community which he begged for support earlier this year and then ultimately betrayed.
