Over privileged dog park polluters ignore the environmental damage of animal waste
What the WOOF Wackos don't want you to know is that their plans to make life easier for Kansas City doggies and to circumvent leash laws could further damage Missouri's ecosystem.
Put simply, WOOF advocates brag about their plan to pay for the proposed dog park at Sunnyside Park but they haven't put any information forth about what they'll do as far as environmental clean-up for all of their animal waste. It's a much more expensive problem then their admitting.
Let's not forget that animal waste pollution has had a huge detrimental effect on Missouri's environment and waterways. Yet, the WOOF folks don't have a solid plan to deal with all of the solid waste their dogs will be dumping in the middle of Kansas City.
If you haven't noticed, doggie droppings are a problem all over town and a walk on the Westside will quickly alert you to the fact that the new gentry doesn't really like cleaning up after their animals - Also, this is just one of the many ways that gentrification poops all over minority communities.
Therefore, it's important that people in this town ask the WOOF Wackos about their (lack of a) plan to deal with this problem (PIAC grants aren't gonna pay for it all) and how they have put their own convenience and selfish interests ahead of the health of the residents surrounding Sunnyside park and the well-being of the planet.

Maybe they can turn it into "biosolids" and use it to fertilize food crops and what-not, like they're doing with human waste now.

But lest anyone read this and actually think dog poop is the concern here, keep in mind that Missouri's number one revenue generator is agriculture -- and is home to about 5 million cows, 9 million pigs, 47 million chickens and 7 million turkeys (not even counting horses, sheep, llamas and other things). Given that your "numbers" include all animal waste, I feel very confident that the state's million or so dogs are not really much of a health risk...
Whats even worse is when they bring the little children with and they pick up the doggie poop, Then they eat it.
We need to take care of the dog shit issue on the Westside and the whole city for that matter. It's an issue most people in this city just don't want to talk about. On the Westside dogs are shitting everywhere. The dogs have taken over our parks, sidewalks, streets, bridges, and school yards. I was told recently by a redident of 17th and Madison that there are 40 dogs on the 17th block of Madison St. on the Westside. The newcomers call it the northend that's all a bunch of caca bullshit it's the Westside ass holes. The newcomers don't seem to give a shit about our community, no pun intended. Pick it up Fuckers.
Tony's absolutely right here. Dogs don't shit unless they're in a dog park. My dog doesn't generate any waste at all because I don't take him to dog parks.
Can we confine the homeless to dog parks too? I saw one of them pooping on the sidewalk the other day. I yelled at him, I said, "Homeless bitch. You have shit leaking out of your ass. Better get that checked out."
He didn't laugh and then he told me to fuck my mother. I said, "Bitch! I read TKC. I will claim racial priveledge for you insulting me. You can't insult me. I am a minority and you are a shitting homeless man!"
Then he drug his ass on the ground like a dog with worms and walked away.
