Mayor Funky's Meaningless Rhetoric

Just like every other politico Mayor Funky is growing adept at his art of saying nothing while releasing one meaningless press release after another. On a Friday, when no one will take notice, he offers a meeting to La Raza in a move intended to seem like he's listening but with no real promise of resolution or anything he's willing to give in return (i.e. Sanctuary). Also, his press release concerning the upcoming Minutemen convention is laughable at best because it offers absolutely no real opinion about the event in question.

Let's remember that Mayor Funky went hat in hand to La Raza Political Club before he was elected. Let's also not forget that this seems like yet another divide and conquer tactic that he's used time and again when it come to the local Latino Community - La Raza was urged to act by it's local constituents and now rather than deal with LOCAL REPRESENTATIVES like Lali Garcia, he's attempting to seek favor with the National Group in order to confuse the issue and draw attention away from the fact that he has BETRAYED his commitments and his word the Latino Community in Kansas City Proper.

What's more telling and more important is that Mayor Funky has eliminated comments on his blog showing once again that he's not willing to break any new ground and won't risk hosting an open forum for KC voices and Internet goons (like TKC) but would rather do nothing but spout his own propaganda.
