Mayor Funky Flees

Kansas City's Mayor is on vacation . . . Again. Since he's heading to the woods of the Ozarks, I thought it would be appropriate to post a vacation-y photo of the wife of Tiger Woods . . . Elin Nordegren. Nice.

Anyhoo . . . Let's not forget Mayor Funky was in JUST in Amsterdam in July where he was also working on his book.

And while the benefit of having Mayor Funky out of town is that there's no opportunity for him to stumble all over himself it seems that his work on his book and so many frequent trips out of town keeps him out of the loop as to what's really going on in Kansas city. NOTE: WITHOUT QUESTION THE MAYOR HAS SPENT FAR MORE TIME WORKING ON HIS BOOK THEN HE HAS DEDICATED TO EASTSIDE VIOLENT CRIME . . . With less than a year on the job, he already seems to be an absentee Mayor. When was the last time you heard of landing a new job and jetting off on vacation twice in less than three months?
