Let's cheer for a lack of progress! Celebrate Missouri moving backwards!!!

I've always believed that most of you d-bags only read this site in order to get a glimpse of what the enemy (i.e. a minority) is thinking.

Therefore, I feel obligated to express my disappointment with the fact that the incoming class at MU's medical school hosts NOT A SINGLE BLACK STUDENT and only a few minorities.

I'm certain that what this story really points out is that without some efforts to achieve diversity, white people are more than happy to keep people of color out of their institutions, workplaces and mainstream culture more or less.

Remember that this information comes within a relatively short timespan of earlier efforts to use tricky ballot language in order to abolish any kind of Affirmative-Action efforts in Missouri. And obviously, the end result of this kind of thing is: No Black people.

And in a state where racial profiling on the streets is encouraged, education in a great many minority communities is substandard and combating violence in urban Black communities isn't a priority for politicos . . . It's certain that these numbers are really just a symptom of a bigger problem.

Coincidentally, there are people who might explain away this frightening stat or even celebrate it as some kind of victory rather than acknowledge that the Show-Me state is rife with institutional, systemic racism and the people who exploit it in order to win political office are pretty sick.
