Hispanic Heritage Month in KC

Don't forget to check out Fiesta Hispana. I've always liked this time of year - It's a nice reprieve from everyone ranting about how much they hate Latinos/immigrants/brown people - At least publicly and everywhere else but talk radio. Also, for those of you really in the know . . . The kickoff to this event in KC is the Blanco y Negro Gala which will take place tonight. I'll be there if you want to stop by, I'll be wearing a tuxedo and laughing and rejoicing that the progress of operation Reconquista is being helped along by TKC - Unquestionably one of KC's most gully blogs and clearly helping push forward the agenda in the local blogosphere . . . OR since the tickets are $65 bucks a piece and I don't own any nice clothes without ketchup stains, I might just watch some re-runs of "The Office" and eat fast food.
