TKC wants you to see ZOO

All right, here is my recommendation for a feature at the KC Zoo IMAX theater that will definitely draw a bigger crowd that those STD infested koalas . . . Let's remember that this is the Heart of America where we know a thing or two about "love" for animals but obviously, there is still A LOT more to learn. That's why the TKC MOVIE PICK OF THE SUMMER is a recent film entitled ZOO, a documentary on the life and death of Kenneth Pinyan, a Seattle area man who died unusually through a fatal accident while engaging in sex with a horse.

In July 2005, a Boeing aerospace engineer was rushed to the hospital, bleeding internally from a perforated colon. After his death, it was revealed that the man had sustained his injuries due to being anally penetrated by a horse, known to him and a select group of friends as Big Dick. This small group of men–zoophiles–had met over the Internet and had been meeting at a barn in rural Washington state for some time; bestiality was not illegal at the time. To their dismay, laws were created banning human-animal sex shortly after the story broke.

And yeah, the story is supposed to be thoughtful, thought provoking and somewhat sympathetic but as long as you pay admission I'm sure there's no crime in seeing the movie just for some cheap laughs while trying not to choke on popcorn.

Additionally, talk of this documentary is ringing out all over the talk show circuit as of late, I can only hope that local broadcasters are brave enough to broach the subject.
