Sayonara Suckers

Now that they're gone, I feel comfortable in noting that I don't/didn't like the Japanese visitors.
First of all, I'm upset because I wasn't able to rip off one of their (many) cameras. Damn translators and security guards!!!
Secondly, all of the feigned interest in other cultures was a bit annoying.
Finally, given that so many people in this town want to deport nearly every Mexican and their grandma . . . I'm not sure it's fair to represent Kansas City as a place that is inviting to foreigners or at the very least it should be noted that many folks in KC have an all together different reaction to people from foreign countries who are staying for more than a week and can't afford luxury hotels.
However, in the interest of fair and balanced journalism, I should note that I got a chuckle out of the Japanese calling our little cowtown huge:
"It’s a very big, spread out city," Fumiko Asahara said through translator Benjamin Tompkins, adding that she had never seen so many lawns in front of houses.Aw, nah baby, we're just average.

Blush.

"Everybody here is so friendly" the article quotes one person as saying.

Kansas City as a place that is inviting to foreigners ...................it's a whole lot better when they can speak English. Don't need a translator. Cake pasa.
She didn't mean all the buildings and stuff were huge... She ment the space everyone has to live is huge... her people probably don't luxuries like big yards and stuff like that... they live in cramped up cities
