So I know Mike Hendricks reads TKC because he sent me a nasty e-mail a long time ago when I made a bunch of spelling errors while calling him a scumbag or something like that . . . But the fact that (In the typical style of the white male oppressor) he's raping and pillaging this blog for his column ideas should clearly demonstrate that the mainstream media in this town needs to do a better job in recognizing the work and contributions of all Kansas City's bloggers.

Notice, I'm not contending that I found the link from USA Today (which I don't read) and I gave the proper hat tip to the Branson Blog who has more Show-Me State pride than TKC ever will.
And yes, Hendricks goes on to profile some amateur Missouri filmmakers in his column that I intentionally overlooked (because they suck) but the point is that it's beyond a doubt that Mike Hendricks is lifting all of his ideas from this blog because he's done it before: In fact, he has hijacked material from TKC for quite some time now.
So, there's no point in The Star paying him when they should be giving their money for tired jokes, over used clichés and lifted news TO ME!!!! Like most folks of Mexican decent, I probably work cheaper.
At the very least I should be granted use of his office, wife or car. We'll just call it reparations.

For a guy who talks about the need to cooperate with police and with the City Council you have a lot of animosity with almost every media personality Tony.
I work in media and the people who know about TKC think that you're a jerk Tony.

You'd be a great addition to the Star...but that's not going to happen unless you change. It's up to you if you want to do that.
As much as I mock Tony, I would still like reading Tony over Hearne Christoper or whoever does the gossipy political/socialite/man about town column now.

The editorial page is a joke and the only interesting columnists are syndicated.
The paper prints especially stupid letters from 'readers' in order to construct strawman arguments that bolster their crap editorials.
As it stands my favorite part of the paper is that advertisement by that guy who requests 'just a moment of my time'
