Evan Harkins recently created an AMAZING VIDEO regarding the history of West Terrace Park.
This Youtube clip offers a sobering account of how Kansas City has traded so much of its history for the convenience of commuters. If there was ever a parable for local pedestrians, Evan Harkins has created it.

I've been to that park. I think someone was found dead there a couple years ago. Too bad criminal elements seem to take over city parks that are not well maintained... or do the not well maintained parks attract the criminal element? Hmmm...
