Favorite target for KC Crooks: Family Dollar
I'm guessing that it's the Kansas City area's number one soft target!!!
I try not to post too many links about petty crime but I've finally come to the conclusion that any Family Dollar store in the metro area is most likely the next location at least one of KC's next dozen or so armed robberies . . . The place just might as well be an ATM for KC's criminal class. Here's the latest headline on the subject that even notes the futile nature of this store's business:

Police said two teens wearing shirts around their faces walked into the Family Dollar Store on Stadium Drive at Van Brunt on Monday.
They demanded the cashier open the safe, but she couldn't, so they reached into her drawer and took what was there.
Officers said when she pushed the silent alarm, the teens took off running and escaped.

Why would any store in KC pay for a silent alarm? Is there anybody else left in Midtown who doesn't know the KCMO police take 10-15 minutes to get anywhere? They should take that money and pay for a guy to stand just inside with a freakin' shotgun.
Where's the outrage?!? Minorities robbing minorities? Should be late breaking and investigative on the local shows.
We all know that most white folks (unless they are from Arkansas) don't shop in a joint like that.
There's a racial component here that the high quality news directors of the local tel-e-O vision stations are missing.
