Substance abuse sidelines Allen

KSHB reports: The NFL suspends Chiefs defensive end Jared Allen for the first four games of the 2007 season for violating its substance-abuse policy.

How so? The facts of his DUIs seem to indicate that the Leawood police were keeping an eye out for him.

He hasn't been sentenced on the second charge. DUI diversion is standard in JoCo. Morrison (ex-joco da) started diversion as a moneymaker for his office- basically a shakedown for people who don't know any better to just take the misdemeanor charge.
