Permanent St. Paddy's afterparty: Alleged Dunk broad cripples local dude for life

KSHB files an amazing reports regarding the perils of the amateur night we call St. Paddy's Day.

Here are the scary details: "Jimmy Bullard may never walk the same again. He was hit by a suspected drunk driver . . . The suspect is Megan Cook, 18. She allegedly was trying to dodge a DUI checkpoint. She remains in jail."

Damn, this story scares the crap out of me. It was a horrible accident and I only wonder if people will blame the (alleged) drunk driver, the fact that DUI checkpoints seem pretty dangerous in and of themselves and/or anyone daring to question that the St. Paddy's Day festivities weren't an unbridled success because there weren't mass shootings.

One of the biggest problems with DUI checkpoints is that they cops put them in the same place time after time after time. That's actually the safest place to head, since the drunks know about them and go the other direction.

one of the biggest problems with DUI checkpoints is their questionable legality imo.
