It's splitsville in Iraq

So now even the Republicans are stating the obvious . . . Time for a change and a more serious approach than simply "stay the course" . . . Brownback doesn't stand a chance but that doesn't mean this idea isn't still good . . . KSHB reports: "Senator Sam Brownback says Iraq should be divided into three sectarian-based states to halt the war."

It's way too early to proffer that judgement. Bill Clinton was seen as a longshot too, if you recall.

Which sectarian state gets the oil? We don't adequately control the countries borders let alons a whole new set of interior lines. Besides, the idea is for Iraq to become self sustaining not another baby-sitting project for our troops.
