Getting kicked from the County is a mixed blessing

Jackson County will cut 19 jobs that aren't as important as protecting the political rep of Mike Sanders and making sure he has money for his jail matrix/whatever/plan to lock up more brown people for longer periods of time. Also, it goes without saying that Kathryn Shields should be given some credit. The County's shortfall and the need to let people go because of her wild spending and refusal to account for anything paved the way for this bad situation. On the bright side, maybe a few of them can find work as chauffeurs if they had any thing to do with Queen Kathryn.

Finally, if you want to thank Ms. Shields, you may not be able to find her in person (especially since I'm pretty sure that she's going straight from the Mayor's race to prison . . . So you might just want to direct your prayers toward the overpriced mural and monument at the Courthouse in her honor.

Why do you say that more jail space means necessarily that "more brown people" will be locked up? Is that not a rascist assumption on your part? Who says that those beds won't be used to house more suburban offenders (which is the plan, by the way if you care to know).

Suburb citys don't have jails, so this will incarcerate more of their peeps than anyone else.
