Searching for a visual metaphor
I think this might be the perfect image of what the Chiefs have continually done to the people of Kansas City and their fans when the subject this town's financial support is in question. My question: Is there any reason to trust them again? When the team isn't constantly hussling for more tax money, then they are raising ticket prices and bitching about their small market. The only thing that stays the same is their lack of playoff victories.

This is why voters distrust anything elected officials say. The powers that be knew in March (I'd bet anything) that this was a no-go for the league. Which makes informing the legislature in August of that fact merely perfunctory. "They" waited until after a big Chief's victory to announce this mess which even increases my belief that this is just another bait and switch on the electorate. I say we need to vote again... this time with the whole truth on the table.
