I can't believe that so many people wondered why someone would vandalize a Historic Cemetery in St. Joseph. Clearly, the most likely excuse (other than the sheer boredom that must come with living in St. Joe) is that it's nearly Halloween.
During this time of year there are all kinds of weird things that the locals do in celebration of the holiday. Expect a bunch of creepy costume parties from the gheys, The Mexicans pay homage to their voodoo/religion/whatever with all of the Dia de Los Muertos activities and some time soon the pet stores are going to stop selling Black cats to goth kids.
So don't be surprised to see more vandalism and ghoulish stories that aren't completely related to politics. This time of year provides a better than average excuse for the people of KC to act freaky.
It's like the old Stull cemetery and church that got torn down a couple years ago. All those stories about it being a gateway to Hell.
ReplyDeleteWhat Tony no costume party to go to? Hey stick, the mud is to your left...
ReplyDeleteIs Halloween the real story behind the Brookside Fund Raiser that Councilman Fairfield had in the "Nudie Cutie Party House" That is a novel Halloween where the costume consists of a mask and hat.
