I would rather watch Ugly Betty than ugly politicians

The Talent McCaskill rerun is tonight.

I watched some of the debate and here are the highlights as far as I could tell:

- McCaskill Calls For Rumsfeld's Firing; Talent Does Not. Compromise: Continue letting Halliburtion and KBR run the war.

- McCaskill family has off shore funds. Which I guess is supposed to be more sleazy than all of Talent's corporate compadres.

- Talent went on the offensive. A sure sign of desperation. He made McCaskill look calm and reasoned with all of his impassioned attacks. Clearly a bad move and proof that his circle of advisors is too small and out of touch with anyone outside of his base.

- McCaskill will put a good portion of her money in a blind trust if she's elected. Clearly she won't need it if the corporate lobbists take care of her even half as good as they have done for Talent.

- All things considered. McCaskill won this won by a large margin and this is coming from someone who really doesn't like her. Her voodoo was in high gear this close to Halloween and I think that she'll probably wisk away with this election. Talent can blame Baby Blunt along, Bush and Bad strategy for his loss but he also might want to look in a mirror because you have to be pretty ugly to make McCaskill seem appealing.
