Hip and Critical News

In the future, everyone is going to be their own news source and that's fine with me because it will provide yet another way to lie to ourselves. Actually, I'm a lot more enthusiastic about blogs, social networking, Internet publishing and micro content than I seem but I don't think it will change the world or the face of the media but it just might make videos of dancing little Indian people easier to find.

In that regard, I'd like to introduce a relatively new local web page "Hip and Critical News (Kansas City edition)." It's not exactly a news site or a blog but it made me laugh a couple a times and it's worth taking a look at . . . If only to support one of the 2 to 3 dozen people who don't get the paper just for the coupons or who only watch the news in order to get the lottery numbers.
