Always deny everything

If you're addicted to the local news like I am then you probably remember a story about Hickman Mills School Board president David Bass and allegations that he acted inappropriately with some young broads. He did great job during the TV interviews and looked all indignant and nearly convinced me. But now it turns out that he's resigning which basically just makes him look guilty.

A police report said that in July, Bass grabbed the buttocks of two victims and took a picture of one of the victims at her desk without her knowledge. He was charged with sexual misconduct.

In a statement regarding his resignation he came up with some nonsense about protecting his family and the education and the children and other boring stuff but none of that really matters if he was innocent then I'm sure all of those people would understand him fighting the thing. But maybe I'm being too optimistic but then again maybe he's overestimating how much people really care about anything going on at Hickman Mills. Anyway, I can't believe I'm writing this much about the subject so I'll simply end it by saying that "grabbed the buttocks" is my phrase of the day and I'll be repeating it all night long. Sessy!
