Al Qaeda doesn't think KC is a Major League City

All of the money for improvements for this town's stadiums in addition to more than a billion bucks in a slush fund doesn't really do much for the perception of our team, this town and its people. Sadly, (I guess) this town doesn't rank very high on a list that notes other cities and their football stadiums taking precautions because of a suspected terror threat recently. While the threat now seems to be fake . . . Sadly, this town is overlooked again as even the kind of people who would fly suicide missions in airplanes consider this part of the country nothing more than the flyover.

In related news, I thought that all of the hot air (from both ends) experienced while tailgaing in the midst of so many JoCo folks is not quite WMD but certainly it counts as some kind of chemical warfare or maybe torture.

  1. The Chiefs get bombed and suffer from meltdown every week they play football. Heck, with all the smoke rising from the tailgaters and the irate fans, I'm not that surprised they've skipped KC over. It's like an attack.

  2. Too much pork in the parking lot. Muslims can't stand the smell of pig. It's our own defense mechanism. Kind of like a low tech Patriot Missile battery.

  3. The problem is all the red. The blood won't show up on TeeVee when the helicopter flies over to give the nation a view of the carnage.

  4. ick, anonymous. that's fucked up. this isn't a fake threat, and in fact, the element of surprise is what the terrorists aim for, so why not KC just because it wasnt mentioned? I'm sure they'd go for St Louis first though, and that's also unmentioned target. But you're correct in that we aren't a high profile enough city to cause the same scale of reaction we saw in 2001. And we would never recover, so let's be thankful their eyes pass over us.
