Will a local "Terr-athon" help out area Republicans?

I think that the terror hype is steadily working its way to KC as well. All the requisite stories about KCI and security silliness have been filed. Most likely somebody (read: Jim Talent) will try to garner votes for securing a part of the country that even terrorists would rather fly over. No, not even Osama wants to see the groovy new P&L district or the Sprint Center.
