Mark Stinson is the man behind ghostvigil.com. He has been looking for ghosts around Kansas City but I don't think anybody has told him that he'd have more luck if he checked around downtown after 5 on a weekday night OR if he looked for business development East of Troost.
Anyway, today the Star features a great interview with Stinson regarding local paranormal research . . . Other than the motivations of ghouls like Steve Glorioso and Kay Barnes.
As a minority, this kind of stuff scares me because Hollywood movies have trained me to believe that people of color are more in tune with the netherworld. This stereotype is especially confounding to me because I can't listen to my loved ones for more than two minutes without bolting out the door and I'm regularly called an insensitive prick by everyone who knows me . . . So I don't plan on giving the spirit world any more consideration than I do real people.
Anyway, it's interesting to me that people wouldn't find this world scary enough without searching for terrifying information from the great beyond. Word to Elvis.
