Dumbass let the dogs out

In what has to be one of the best excuses for idiocy I've heard in a really long time, the guy who released three pit bulls into an Independence neighborhood where they attacked three men did so because he wanted to . . . (drum roll) . . .

"Cause some excitement"

Good luck legislating against that level of asshatery.

Seems to me it doesn't matter if the guy owned a dog or a gun or a car or a lawn mower . . . He would have eventually found some way to make everyone in the immediate vicinity regret that they had to live next to him.

This provides even more proof that pit bull bans are poorly planned. It's easy to win brownie points for protecting public safety but it's harder to admit that there are a lot of ignorant ass people walking around who pose a horrible threat to themselves and everyone around them. Already we know that public education isn't doing a decent job of stemming the tide of stupidity but the fact remains that this country has been consistently earning a rep as a nation of morons and that comes from people other than the smelly, surrendering French.
