The sign says

I will tell you once and for all that I've never once been persuaded to vote for some douche just because I see an ass load of his signage cluttering up the city. In fact, if I have a negative opinion about the candidate than the lawn signs just reinforce it. They are nothing but a waste of paper and they likely don't even represent much of an endorsement from the people whose lawns host the signs. Hosting a lawn sign doesn't involve you in the political process simply because you let a campaign goon intimidate you. Also, those extra-mega 6-foot X 6-foot signs that you can see from space are just telling everyone that your candidacy is compensating.

Anyway, if you wanna see the outdoor communication thing done right, Theresa Garza has some great billboards over the Westside. They feature her with her Grandma who is a staple of this community. The billboard approach beats the crappy signs hands down because it represents an investment in a candidacy, it exists in a pre-approved space for public communication and it doesn't waste as much resources. I'm all about grass roots movements but the Democrat machine putting its drones on the street to place these wasteful signs all over the city doesn't strike me as the voice of the people.
