The Northland is composed mainly of strip malls

This local blogger isn't too excited about the recent "developments" up North. "I am just going to have to avoid the area for the next couple of years," she claims. I don't know if the eyesore created by yet another strip mall will be keeping her away or just the fact that the distribution of TIF money in this town is ugly. The blogger sums it up best when she writes: "An even greater insult is that the developers of this atrocity to my sensibilities are getting tax breaks from the city that are normally given to redevelop blighted land."
