Kansas City gives EDC a 14 percent raise

The KC Biz journal reports: Kansas City increased financing of its Economic Development Corp. by $150,000, or 14 percent, the organization's CEO said Friday. In other biz news that is a little less lily white: A local law firm is going to fund $270,000 for minority scholarships to law schools which is nice because suing the man is cool and because you don't have to wear a sports jersey in order take advantage of the cash . . .
