Another local myspace (alleged) killer

You've no doubt seen it by now but in case you haven't here is the myspace page of Taylor "T-Mar" Marquez. A lot of folks will tell you that Greg "dirtbag" Reeves found the link over at his splog but I think the insights from KCTalk and local blogger Cara are far more interesting and don't try and disguise themselves as "journalism" on a story that's really nothing more than a bit of juicy gossip.

Now before you all go and cast the first stone regarding this story (too late) I should say that this kid isn't the first one who (allegedly) killed one of his parents. I've been to nursing homes and watched old ladies fade away looking out a window going without visitors for weeks at a time and it seems like a love knife might have actually been a lot nicer. Also, from what I hear, interracial dating is one of the most common ways to send your parents to an early grave.

Then there is the matter of the embarrassing web page. I have to plead guilty on this one too. If I'm ever arrested and a bunch of "holier than thou" people find this blog I can only hope that I've committed one of the following offenses:

1. Yelled loud enough in front of The Star building that all the glass shattered.
2. Streaking at the first big event in The Sprint Center.
3. "Seasoning" tacos in Johnson County with my own special sauce.
4. Running away with Greg Reeves to raise sheep.
5. Committing some kind of act that (might or might not) constitute a hate crime against 87% of the Pitch staff.

Obviously, I'm kidding about nearly all of these ideas. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone . . . But I'm not adverse to watching, pointing and laughing while snacking on popcorn.
