Working with Italian leftovers

An interesting article in the Northeast News discusses the fact that "Local immigrants face more than just citizenship problems." Yeah, like how they can continue to single handedly revitalize Northeast Kansas City after the Italians gave up and moved out of the place while every old white guy in town with anger management issues works to get the Mexicans booted out of the country.

Long ago the Northeast was home to the Italians (read: Mafia) who ran this city but they all either died, were killed, went to jail or moved North of the River (Same thing). Now, the neighborhood consists of mostly Mexicans, Viet Cong, Arabs and Africans and a few very scraggly Meth addled hookers. It's my second favorite place in Kansas City other than the Westside (The Best side! - for real estate speculation). Also, my neighborhood has the distinction of rarely ever hosting the Italians for anything more than collecting payoffs. One Kansas City my ass.
