The Pitch plays Pot vs. Kettle: "No one lowers the bar better than the Kansas City Star"

The Pitch slams the Star . . . Like one hooker complaining that another hooker wears too much eye shadow. It's basically a slam directed toward Jeneé Osterheldt and her writing and "coverage" of the local hip-hop scene that is best left to the metro crime blotter. Personally, I don't think local hip-hop merits that much coverage given that it's mainly the pursuit of nerdcore hobbyists or thugs who are also interested in killing time while waiting to kill people. Also, I just can't get behind (no homo) the idea of the lily white hipsters at The Pitch coming down on a Black woman who they find threatening.
