At least 54 people who got sick last week taking part in the annual Biking Across Kansas event last week.
It's unclear whether the outbreak was caused by some mystery illness or environmental factors. However, what we do know is that it's hard to save the world powered by nothing but your own hubris and the idea that riding a kid's toy somehow makes you a better person.
my guess is a truck carrying hogs or cattle passed by them on the road and infected the lot.
