Kansans in favor of killing

Here is yet another example of Kansans acting very Christian. It seems that a recent Kansas Death Penalty ruling and its possible reinstatement just might provide a boost to Attorney General Phill Kline's election hopes. It's good to know we may have our differences over the origin of man, literature as obscenity and religion in public schools but we can all support state sanctioned killing. Never mind that The Big JC was one of the more famous victims of capital punishment, killing people locked up in cages is an issue that draws a wide base of support.

Additionally, many political pundits think that Kline's political rival Johnson County District Attorney Paul Morrison might get some support from the ruling as well. I won't presume to know what the hell Jesus would do about this but I will note that garnering favor from a blood thirsty mob is far more useful than actually practicing the religion so many Kansans claim to accept.

The death penalty has had a rough go here in Kansas. Missouri is much better at killing people than Kansas is. The state hasn't done it in more than three decades. Christianity might have something to do that.

The death penalty has had NO trouble in Kansas.

For years a baby could be aborted until the very DAY it was due.

Penalty for being unborn...death.
