Recently, KC Among 2006 All-America City Award Winners. It's worth noting that The World's Greatest Grandpa and Official Boobie Inspector also rank right up there with this "prestigious" honor.
I never heard of the award (so it must not be important) until this town won it. I could go around collecting meaningless honors as well but it wouldn't change the fact that I wear the same pair of jeans for weeks (not days) at a time.
Still, somebody gave their time and effort in order to put this honor together so I guess we should all be proud of it just like an honorable mention earned in a Science Fair or the CD's you stole from an old girlfriend. I like Natalie Merchant and all but there was no way I was paying money for Tigerlily.
