A love letter to Katheryn Shields
This super nice piece from The Star labels her a "comeback kid" rather than the queen of controversies. I smell another election season full of endorsement filled reporting from The Star or maybe that could simply be one of Shields' farts. Also, I'm trying to think of a good nickname for Katheryn Shields please let me know your suggestions.

Jim Nutter is a king maker?
yeah Jim Nutter is big donor to the Missouri Democratic Party, and has a lot influence behind the scenes.
KShields nickname...how about "Holy CRAP my mortgage payment just went up 23% due to a one lump sum tax increase (none of this stinking gradated increase over a few years nonsense) from Jackson County plus we voted for a bogus Jackson County money transferal plan disguised as a tax so millionaires can immediately rake off the profits and play with their balls"?
How would that look on a ballot?
Actually I like some aspects of KShields and have no doubt she could mount a vigorous Mayoral campaign. I have even voted for her in the past, but her recent penchant for tax and bend (over) for the Truman Sports bazillionaire crowd tell me she is no longer in touch with middle class home owners.
I want a new Mayor who will reign in runaway TIF dispensations and spend money on wacky things like curbs and sidewalks and sewers and smooth streets and code enforcement and livable neighborhoods. Well it is fun to dream.
